Subject:  Offer of Provisional Admission to Post Basic  B.Sc   Nursing Programme for January’ 2018 Session.

 

 

Dear Learner,

 

 Congratulation ! You have been provisionally selected for admission to the Post Basic  B.Sc Nursing Programme of the

university commencing from January 2018 Session . You are to come with all relevant documents to the IGNOU Regional Centre, Bikash Bhawan, North Block, 4th Floor, Salt Lake, Kolkata-700091 on the date and time mentioned overleaf for

finalization of admission procedure.

 

One set of Photocopies of the following documents duly self attested to be submitted as per sequence during the counselling which to be checked by Nursing experts:-

    

1).   Original Admit Card for Entrance Test, signed by the Invigilator.

2).   10th Class or Matriculation or equivalent Certificates (Certificate of   date  of birth to be verified from 10th / Matriculation Certificate).

3).   10+2 Class Certificate and Marks Sheet.

4).  Valid RNRM Registration Certificate (In case registration is done form more than one council, all such certificates). The RNRM certificate should be renewed where ever applicable.

5).   Experience Certificate(s) on Letter Head of the competent authority with full name, date and signature with stamp).

6). GNM Diploma Certificate and Marks Sheets for all years.

7).  No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the organisation, with sign and stamp of Head of Institution where the candidate is presently working.

8).  In lieu of mid-wifery, the male nurses produce the certificate in any nursing course of 6-9 months duration as recognized by Indian Nursing Council. The candidates should produce relevant documents authenticating that such nursing course is recognized and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).

9).   Original Anti-ragging Affidavits in the prescribed formats duly Notorised and signed by Parents and Applicant separately, as given  in the Prospectus.

10). Category Certificate for SC/ST/Non Creamy Layer of OBC (validity not more than three years after issuance till the last date of submission of application form) / PH / Kashmiri Migrant / War Widow candidates wherever required.

11). A Demand Draft for Rs.18,000/- (Rupees Eighteen Thousands  only) – towards 1st year admission fees in favor of “IGNOU” and payable at Kolkata (Not mandatory in respect of SC/ST candidates – As per the circular/letter no. IG/SRD/R-II/B.Ed/2018 dated 20th February, 2018). Please write your Name, Address, Enrolment No. and Phone No. on the reverse side of the Demand Draft.           

12). Two Passport size Photographs

13). This provisional Admission offer letter in Original.

14). Identity Card enclosed in the prospectus of B.Sc (N) for 2018 duly filled in and passport size photograph pasted on (not stapled) it. Do not sign over the photograph.

 

 The following certificates/documents are required to be submitted by the applicant claiming reserved seat:-

 

 

15).      Category (SC/ST) Certificate for claiming SC/ST Seat.

16).      OBC-Non creamy Layer Certificate along with Income Certificate for claiming OBC (Non-creamy Layer) Seat.  The Certificate, not older than 3 years, should be in the format as given in the Student Handbook and Prospectus of the Post Basic B.Sc (Nursing) Programme. The annual income of the OBC Candidates (Non Creamy Layer) should not exceed Rs Eight Lakhs per annum. Annual Income certificate is required from the competent authority to avail the reservation.

17).      Certificate of Physically Handicapped for claiming PH Category seat, with a minimum of 40% disability.

18).      War-widow Certificate issued by the Defence Authority for claiming War Widow Seat.

19).      Kashmiri Migrant Certificate for claiming KM Seat.

 

 All the Original Documents Pertaining to the above should also be brought for verification at the time of Provisional Admission.

 

The Provisional admission will be done at the Regional Centre, IGNOU, Bikash Bhawan, North Block, 4thFloor, Salt Lake, Kolkata-700091 between 10.30 am to 5.00 pm as per the date given below.

You are requested to be present at the Regional Centre at the time and date mentioned above. Please keep in mind that processing of your application form and verifying of documents will take some time. Therefore, those who have been given time between 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm, shall report at sharp 1.30 pm. If you fail to report on the stipulated date, the offer of provisional admission will be treated as cancelled and the vacancy will be offered to the next candidate in order of rank (marks). No further communication will be entertained in this regard over phone or by post. Please Note : Guest/Part-Time/Honorary persons are not eligible for admissions to B .Sc(N) Programme in IGNOU.

 Once you are given the provisional admission, you may be allotted a Programme Study Centre (PSC) taking into account of your preference as well as the availability of seats at PSC on the day of your counseling. No request for change of PSC at any stage shall be entertained.
